Sine i was in oxford street today i thought i would have a little browse in Topshop and i came across the section of Ashish

I stood there for a few seconds thinking shalll i get it or not as i am a poor student.

Looking around me thinking i might as well get it WHY NOT AYYY !!!

But i should really save my money as it was £40 :( Bad times ... x

Work experience

Work experience is soon approaching and im quiet nervous to see what is in store for the time period .

Ive been emailing a number of agencies and designers to see what applys to me .

And out of no where GAP got back to me with an interview for tomorrow which is very interesting.

So i have to travel to london and meet Denise for an interview at 11.00 in westminster .

This collection showed january 17th in milan gave off a very military cadets vide teamed with english style.the track pants paired with oversize military outerwear /oversized ponchos /jackets and the key fabric leather.

The shape of the body form squares with straight shoulders and oversized collars

reminded me of 1920,s air pilots with jackets teams with belts over the long coats

Mamas and papas

New brief has been handed to us called niche brands ,sounds interesting but is a lot of hard work

we have to create a marketing report /promotional strategy /shop report/ and 6 pages in out profile.

My niche brand is mamas and papas the baby department store. At first i wasn't happy but i thought i want a new challenge and here it is. going to be tough but worth it .

Christopher Bailey's latest collection was all about english fashion teamed with fur trims and bright colour coats

He offered a little bit of everything for everyone for /winter. skinny pants/jumpers/ duffle coats the lot.

He then closed this show with a rainstorm from his special effects team which was amazing.

Working towards the December issue of an exclusive clip using unknown models using black and white film, which reminds me of the photo shoot i did today for my final image.

i have finally designed 3 defo garments for my fmp .
but since i designed them i keep changing them to make them more exciting or whatever..
i would have made my corset today but i can not do the stupid bia spinding in the corset :( stupid thing . :@


hopefully i will pattern cut them tomorrow and start to make on the night ..

i have started designing my FMP .

i have made most of my corset for design 1..

hopefully i will be finished in 8 weeks. arhhh...........

New camera..

since i have a new camera i got excited and went mad with taking pictures over weekend.

I have lost 4 camera in the last year :( and is not goign to lose this £180 one

(btw is quite cheap for the camera ..)

Fur

Since doing some research on the animals & there fur , i think it is terrible and a vile way to be killed just for there fur,
I think its sad to watch as you dont think about where it is from when you wear fur.....
I think this poster is a good way to get awareness of how badly they are treated & i think we can help them in some way or another.

This collection is baes on jack the ripper and london 1880,s
On her leggings is the map of whitechapel and it got me thinking about my own print and what to include the map some how . i may use image maker but that will be time consuming.
